TRISTE© favourite Seablite, from San Francisco, purveyors of magnificent dreampop and fog pop melodies, partner with Ride’s Andy Bell and his GLOK project to reimagine Faded, off their recent Lemon Lights LP, which, mastered by Mark Gardener of Ride, was out on 29 September 2023 on Mt.St.Mtn.

What They Say: “It’s no secret that we are massive Ride fans and have also been following Andy Bell’s GLOK project and his collaborations with artists on remixes for a while. One day, I finally reached out to Andy to see if he would be interested in working on the remix for one of our songs from the Lemon Lights and he was into it!
We shared 4 different tracks with him to see what would inspire an idea for him, and the track he picked was a b-side track, Faded. We were very excited about this pick, because not only the song is about going to a rave, but also has a lot of experimental layers and makes perfect sense for a dance remix. The remix was ready pretty quick, and we were ecstatic about it! We absolutely love the arrangements and groove of the track. To keep the project in the Ride family, we reached out to Mark Gardener to master it and it all came together beautifully. To say how thrilled we are about this collaboration would be an understatement! To package it all in a nice, as we all call it, a “visual salad” we worked with our videographer Jenn Heard who created a beautiful and vibrant video for the song.”
