Caveleon

Caveleon project was born in January 2018, bringing together multi-instrumentalist Leo Einaudi, singer-songwriter Giulia Vallisari, electronic musician Federico Cerati and drummer Agostino Ghetti. The band immediately found an affinity, which, combined with their talent, produced original and evocative sounds, caught somewhere between folk, indie and rock atmospheres immersed in electronic sounds. The result of this sonic research takes the listener into a world that is difficult to define, but surprising in its simplicity and refinement. The vocals Leo and Giulia, the first deep and rough, the second angelic and ethereal, acoustic guitar, avant-garde rhythms, piano and keyboards, and arrangements full of suggestion, lead to imagine being in places that we seem to have known, and at the same time are unexplored. In May 2019 the band released their first EP Caveleon with the Futurissima label, which was followed by an Italian tour. The following year the band found themselves working on new songs and on an ambitious and original project: not a simple album for its own sake, but a concept made up of three EPs: each EP deals with a different theme, but connected to the others. Sometimes and Sometimes I’m Still led to Sometimes I’m Still Drowning, their first album, out in October 2021 for Costello’s.
